CareBase AI is a comprehensive knowledge and training platform for home care agencies. It features an MCP server for structured data access, an intelligent chatbot for staff training and operational queries, and a compliance-first architecture designed for HIPAA requirements.
Challenge
Home care agencies struggle with consistent staff training, rapid policy lookups, and maintaining HIPAA compliance across distributed teams. Existing solutions were either too generic or prohibitively expensive for mid-size agencies.
Solution
Built a Next.js application with Claude AI integration via MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. The knowledge base ingests agency policies, training materials, and compliance documents. Staff interact through a conversational interface that provides instant, contextual answers with source citations.
Results
In pilot with an early home-care customer. Gives staff instant, source-cited answers drawn from agency policy and training documents, and serves as a compliance-first template for healthcare AI applications.
